Are binaural beats dangerous? Can you die?

I listen to binaurals when I’m tired and need a little boost, or when I’m depressed or sad and need a little pick-me-up. This is very useful since I, a student, sometimes have to stay up VERY late. So, is it dangerous? Any permanent effects? Is using it a sin?
Or when I’m simply in the mood to feel a certain emotion. However, I NEVER use them for spiritual/ESP/lucid dreaming stuff, since it IS a sin for a Chirtian, and NOBODY, for ANY reason, should EVER get into ESP/paranormal/occult.
