If you sit on a Bible with your legs crossed close your eyes and hum, you should be meditating on scriptures in no time.

Just think about what you’ve read and what it means to you and your life. Meditating on virtuous readings will help you to be virtuous too.
Good luck

You should be doing just that right NOW! Why are you on the devil’s forum.
Go pick up the bible and start reading. Repent for being on Yahoo Answers.

sit in silence. memorize your scripture and pray it to our Lord. but that will only give you a sense of confidence. God already knows what He wrote. the best way to meditate is to sit in silence and talk to Him.

To my current knowledge, there are 7 deviations from God’s word. Discern currently between Bible and scripture; before you meditate on scripture.

when ou’re not thinking wbout things like “okay, this is what i need to buy at the groceries” or “i wonder if i have clean clothes for tomarrow” or whatver think about God and the Scripture, read it to get to know God and how to fight against Satan, pray, become God’s buddy, get to know Him. There’s nothing more than you reading the Bible and getting to know Him that He wants more

Prayer will be the most effective defense and knowledge from the scriptures.

1. Do not use Eastern religious techniques like “yoga” to meditate.
2. Just read the scriptures and go over them in your mind. Think, think think. If you have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you (having been saved) then He will bring things to your mind all day long, and you will notice things throughout your day that directly relate to what you read.

Choose a passage of scripture which describes a scene.
Read the scripture passage over a few times.
Close your eyes & relax; try to imagine the scene.
If any distractions come up, put them aside for later.
Put yourself in the picture, identify the others present.
Listen to Jesus, watch the disciples, ask a question.
What do you see/hear/learn?

Just talk to God personally. Like you would a loved one. Put the Bible down and talk to Him. Satan doesn’t mean squat. Chill out and find the peace you’re looking for.

We are to eat the WORD
Drink the Word
That is the bread of life….
and the drink which God gave his disciples
The WORD is the pure water
The bible says to study to show thyself approved….
if you fill you life / mind soul / spitit and body
with the word……as God said i will write it on the tablets of your heart………..we are to be filled with it daily !!!!!!!
And it is just like this….Jesus taught to out on the whole armour of God………..and it goes like this:
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God , that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day , and having done all to stand, Stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth ( WORD of GOD ) and having on the breastplate of righteousness ( JESUS ) and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace ( witness ) Above all taking the shield of Faith( In JESUS and HIS WORD ) , wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation (let this mind be in you as it is in Christ Jesus ) and the sword of the Spirit , which is the Word of God; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit , and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints .
Ephesians 6 v 13-18
