What form of meditation have people found most stress relieving?
I am thinking about trying meditation to help me relax. I have a very busy life that is quite stressful right now and so don’t have a lot of time. A web link or book recommendation would be greatly apreaciated.
Thanks
I am looking for a form of helpful meditation that you don’t have to pay to learn. TM seems to me to be mediocere from what I have heard and I don’t like the fact that some people are getting rich off it. I don’t think that’s entirely ethical.
I didn’t mean to be dismisive about TM as a practice, though some practioners I have met didn’t impress me very much. As a practice I don’t know anything about it realy. And now I don’t know how to reverse my thumbs down on the answerer who suggested it.

I was going to say “Darvocet” until I looked more closely at your question. At a glance, I thought it was “medication” you were looking for.
